Erasmus+ offers

The Erasmus programme is the largest mobility programme at TU Dortmund University and a funding programme of the European Union. It enables students to spend one or two semesters at a partner university in another European country. The Faculty of Statistics currently has partnerships with almost 20 universities.

During the stay, tuition fees at the host university are waived, and credits earned abroad can typically be transferred. In addition, participants receive a mobility grant, the amount of which varies depending on the destination country. Special grants – for example, for students with chronic illnesses or with children – are possible. Other forms of financial support, such as BAföG, can usually continue to be used.

The application deadline for all universities is 15 February (for the coming winter semester and the summer semester of the following year).

Stays abroad Worldwide

Studying abroad is also possible outside the Erasmus+ programme: the International Office coordinates the interdisciplinary overseas exchange programme, in which approximately 200 universities worldwide participate. Please note, however, that the application deadline is different. In addition, internships, final theses and even short programmes abroad are possible.
