By car

The campus of the Technical University of Dortmund is located near the freeway junction Dortmund West, where the Sauerland line A45 crosses the Ruhr expressway B1/A40. The Dortmund-Eichlinghofen exit on the A45 leads to the South Campus, the Dortmund-Dorstfeld exit on the A40 leads to the North Campus. The university is signposted at both exits.

By bus and train

It covers this distance in two minutes.

By plane

From Dortmund Airport, it takes just over 20 minutes to get to Dortmund Central Station by AirportExpress and from there to the university by S-Bahn. A wider range of international flight connections is offered by Düsseldorf Airport, about 60 kilometers away, which can be reached directly by S-Bahn from the university's train station.

Welcoming Prof. Elizabeth Tipton: Advancing Data Science and Interdisciplinary Research

Internationally renowned statistician Prof. Elizabeth Tipton visits TU Dortmund University and the RC Trust Graduate School to foster collaboration, exchange ideas, and to inspire our research community.

We are delighted to welcome Prof. Elizabeth Tipton from Northwestern University to the campus and to the RC Trust Graduate School. As Professor of Statistics and Data Science and Professor of Human Development and Social Policy at the Institute for Policy Research, Prof. Tipton is internationally recognized for her work on statistical methodologies and their application in the social sciences.

During her visit Prof. Tipton will engage with our research community through meetings with department members, PhD students, and interdisciplinary teams. A highlight of her stay will be her talk:
