What does a distribution network operator do? In short, we ensure that energy gets to where it is needed. In the Asset Management & Sustainability department at Westnetz GmbH, my team analyzes asset analytics data to ensure that our network not only runs reliably, but also becomes a little smarter in the process. I'll give you a brief glimpse into our data world and show you a current project in which we are regionalizing future supply tasks – essentially mapping out the future.
