Statistical Week 2023

The Department of Statistics of the TU Dortmund University is happy to host the next edition of the Statistical Week on September 11-14, 2023.

The Statistical Week is the annual conference of the German Statistical Society, organized jointly with the Association of the German Municipal Statisticians. Its extensive four-day program of contributed and plenary sessions, lectures by internationally renowned keynote speakers and the Young Scientists‘ Workshop attract around 500 academics and practitioners from all branches of statistics every year.

The Statistical Week 2023 will focus on the following main topics:

  • Statistical methods for the green transition in energy and transport
  • Effects of crises on income development and distribution
  • Spatio-temporal data analytics
