The campus of the Technical University of Dortmund is located near the freeway junction Dortmund West, where the Sauerland line A45 crosses the Ruhr expressway B1/A40. The Dortmund-Eichlinghofen exit on the A45 leads to the South Campus, the Dortmund-Dorstfeld exit on the A40 leads to the North Campus. The university is signposted at both exits.

It covers this distance in two minutes.

By plane

From Dortmund Airport, it takes just over 20 minutes to get to Dortmund Central Station by AirportExpress and from there to the university by S-Bahn. A wider range of international flight connections is offered by Düsseldorf Airport, about 60 kilometers away, which can be reached directly by S-Bahn from the university's train station.

M.Sc. Econometrics offers enrollment in the summer term

From the 2025 summer term onwards, the international Master's degree program in Econometrics welcomes new students in the summer term as well as in the winter term.

From the 2025 summer term onwards, the international Master's degree program in Econometrics welcomes new students in the summer term as well as in the winter term. Previously, enrollment was only possible once per academic year in the winter term. The application period for the summer semester 2025 ends on January 15, 2025 for non-EU/EEA applicants and on April 4, 2025 for EU/EEA applicants. The M.Sc. program Econometrics, which has been jointly offered by TU Dortmund University, Ruhr University Bochum, and the University of Duisburg-Essen since the 2019/2020 winter term, combines the fields of economics and statistics.
