Dr. Anna Dieckhöfer (Tech Lead Simulation & Virtualization, SLAPStack / Frauenhofer IML, Dortmund) Sina Ramin Sadegh Nadi (CET, Dortmund)

TU Dortmund University has established technology and knowledge transfer in business and society as a third pillar alongside research and teaching. In this context, the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Transfer (CET) will present its services and describe various possibilities and opportunities for transfer. Transfer is understood in a broader sense than just the founding of start-ups or spin-offs, but holistically and also includes examples such as social innovation, the transfer of people and cooperation in research and development.

The aim of the lecture is to impart knowledge about various transfer opportunities and to raise awareness of these opportunities among researchers and students. The CET's services include intellectual property management, support in establishing contacts with industrial partners, assistance in acquiring funding for transfer projects and the organisation of events such as hackathons/makeathons.

Dr Anna Dieckhöfer will then present her start-up "SLAPStack" and discuss how scientific innovations in the logistics sector can lead to start-ups.

The presentation will take place on July 4, 2024 at 4:15 p.m. in M/E 21. The lecture language is German.
